Textbook Prices Are Subject to Change

Pioneer Bookstore makes it easy to find the exact textbooks you need for every class. For each class, simply select the Term, Department, Course and Section to see a list of the required and optional texts and materials as specified by your instructor.

Processing times and shipping: Orders take approximately 24-48 hours to process and ship. We only process website orders during regular business hours, not on weekends or holidays. If we are out of stock on a textbook, your processing time may be delayed until we receive the item. If you are picking-up your order at the Shelby campus, please allow 1 additional day after the order is processed for the item to transfer to that location. If your order is being picked-up at the Pell City campus, it may take longer to send your item to that campus.  We ship via UPS, which cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

The last day to return/refund/exchange textbooks is January 17, 2012. All returns must have a receipt present. No refunds are allowed after January 17th. If you place your order after January 17th, all sales are final. This refund policy applies to both in-store and internet orders.

Textbook Pricing and Used textbooks: Textbook Prices are subject to change. We make every effort to our website textbook prices. However, prices may change unexpectedly due to publisher
price changes.

Ordering a 'used' textbook does not necessarily mean we have a used textbook in-stock. Your order amount when placed will reflect the used textbook price(s). If no used textbook is available, you will be substituted the new textbook, and the price of your order will increase (the difference between the used and new textbook). The final invoice amount will only be available once the order is processed and all other fees (tax, shipping) are added. Due to high volume, we are usually unable to contact you before we process your order to inform you of any price changes on your order before we process and charge your order. Your order will not be charged to you until
we process your order. Also, please note that used textbooks may not come with additional
components such as CD's, Access Codes, etc. Those items are sometimes only available in 'new' textbooks.  If you see the book has the words 'Package' or 'PKG' in it, it will only be a new textbook, there are no used copies of 'Packages'. If the book title says 'Book Alone', then it is typically only a Used textbook by itself without access codes or other components.
